Frequently asked questions
Which alarm panels does Nexalarm support?
Nexalarm is vendor-agnostic: it works with any panel that sends email notifications. Preconfigured filters are available for Inim, Bentel and Tecnoalarm; for other brands you can create custom filters on sender, subject and email body.
Do I need to install anything on a server or my PC?
No. Nexalarm is a fully managed cloud service. All you need is an IMAP mailbox dedicated to your panel notifications: enter its credentials in the dashboard and you are done.
What kind of email account can I use?
Any provider with IMAP access: Gmail, Outlook, Aruba, OVH, company mail servers. We recommend a mailbox used only for panel notifications.
Are my email credentials safe?
Yes. IMAP credentials are encrypted with RSA-4096 + AES-256-GCM before being stored. The decryption key lives only on the dedicated worker and is never exposed to the web application.
How does the free trial work?
You get 15 days of full access to the Starter plan (2 users, 30 customers), no credit card required. When it ends, pick the plan that fits your business.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, there is no minimum term. Your data stays available for 30 days after cancellation, then it is permanently deleted.
Can other users see my customers’ data?
No. Every organisation is isolated at database level with Row-Level Security, on infrastructure hosted in European datacentres.
